Autumn To Winter

Hello out there,

autumn is finally coming to an end. We had such a pretty fall here, a really golden one. 

And so was my autumn time; I've read a lot, strolled through the bookstore, had pumpkin spice lattes and apple cinnamon lattes, watched all of the Harry Potter movies, lighted candles and wore my fave big chunky sweaters.

Now I can feel that winter is on it's way. The pumpkins and autumn scented candles need to make space for the christmas decoration now. I am so ready for my favorite time of the year. How about you? 

Autumn Vibes

Hello darlings,

it's already November, wow! I am feeling that this year passed so quickly.

Anyways, today was a perfect autumn day. After breakfast we took a long walk in the forest. It was so soothing to breathe the fresh autumnal forest air. The leaves were coloured in yellow and everything was so calm. Back home I made some tea, a gojiberry, strawberry & vanilla blend and lighted some candles. This coziness makes me already think about the Christmas decoration :D But this has to wait one more month ( ; I also sorted my books that I wanna read in this gloomy but cozy time. And there are lots of books on my list!

Autumn Days

Hello everybody,

finally it's autumn time again. It is quite warm for this season this year, but anyways I am already getting cosy at home. I got myself some pumpkin spice scented candles and little deco pumpkins for the apartment. ✧

Lately I used to spent my saturday afternoons in the bookshop. I just love to stroll around, have a look at notebooks, magazines and new books to discover. I fell in love with so many and already bought a bunch:

I also sat in the bookshop café quite a lot, sipped on milky coffee or pumpkin spice latte, enjoyed some salted caramel cheesecake and watched the leaves fall outside.

Pumpkin Spice

Hello darlings,

autumn is just around the corner, and I am so happy about it! 

I am a total autumn person, I just love when it's getting cozy inside with tea and books. Today I made a batch of vegan chocolate chip cookies which we enjoyed with some hot chocolate.

A few days ago I went to my favorite bookshop and bought myself the new illustrated "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone". Harry Potter just belongs to stormy and chilly autumn days in my oppinion. I guess that's also why we plan to watch all of the movies during fall. 

I also went to Lush to get myself some bathing stuff. I bought the "Twilight" bath bomb and the "Spicy Pumpkin" bathmelt. Both smell totally divine!

Some pumpkin spice scented candles, small deco pumpkins and a new notebook also moved in here.

Autumn, I am ready for you!

November Coziness ♡

Autumn reads and a beautiful card I bought.

It's already the end of november and it is starting to get cozy here. Soon the christmas markets will start and I am so keen visiting a few of them. Can't wait for drinking mulled wine and looking at some stalls with selfmade things ♥ Sooo ready for christmas, who else is?

A few weeks ago the forest looked still very autumnal and colourful. When I went there today all the pretty leaves were gone and it already looked very bleak.

Things that I carry with me for a sunday coffee at my grandparent's place: An illustration book, a mandarin, some art cards and my favourite book by paperblanks.

Last week I went to my favourite café to meet my friend Janet. We spent some quality time talking and sipping on pur hot drinks.

Yesterday I got myself a beautiful autumnal flower bouquet. I like treating myself with flowers from time to time. I also bought this little Korifee (?) tree and started to decorate it christmassy already.

November time

Happy 1st of november, everyone! I think it's a little bit crazy that it is already november now. Time flew by so quickly. Yesterday was Samhain/Halloween, we moved the clocks backward a few days ago, the dark time begins now. Somehow I am happy about the dark time of the year, I enjoy to get cozy and spending the evenings with candles, books, tea and good music. It's important to take good care of the self in these darker days, sometimes the dark can make you feel sad.  

I still can rembember summer so vividly, our vacation on Crete, the sun, the summer breezes and soon it'll be Christmas. I already bought some christmas books for the winter vacation time and today I enjoyed the first star-shaped cinnamon cookies, yum! 

My thoughts are still placed in my little Finland vacation in October (travel diary post is coming soon). Very good memories were made there!

Finally it's autumn!

Hello and happy autumn!

Finally it's my personal favourite season of the year! The days are getting shorter and it's time to get cozy at home! My living room table is full of candles, scented ones, normal ones, beeswax candles. I collected some chestnuts, pretty coloured leaves and some apples to decorate my apartment.

When I've got some free time (what is really rare in the past time) I go to the beautiful forest nearby or for a walk in the botanical garden with friends.

I stocked up on many books, mostly crime stories placed in England, bought some spicy christmassy tea and a new candle with "cinnamon bun" scent. Hello cozy time!

Finally I got myself a pair of Doc Martens! My new companion through the colder days.

☯|| When I was a child, my birthday was the biggest event of the year for me. Full of magic, being a queen for one day. Now that I am older, I am curious about my birthday still. But it's more about the thing how I developed in one year, how my taste, thoughts and feelings have changed.

 It was nice to see my friends again, we don't see each other that often, so it's always fun when we meet. We have a lot to talk about then.

In those moments I recognize that it's so heartwarming to be surrounded by people I love and who did their best to put a smile on my face! I am grateful to know those lovely souls, near and far ♥

November Musings

 ☽ || Finally it's november, the beginning of the dark time. Yesterday we made the first batch of cookies for this winter, some really delicious ones, with orange zest. Maybe a bit too early, but hey - look at the autumn animal cookies ☺

 ➳ Reading in the candle light, sweet honey scent, tea, vintage things and raw chocolate, this is how november sundays should look like. I especially love this fashion magazine about the 60s, one of my favourite decades: floral dresses in a-line, huge sunglasses, swinging london, beat blouses, maxis, all this futuristic designs ♥♥ This makes my heart beat higher, I guess I was born in the wrong time...

 ➳ I bought myself this pretty travel diary (finally)!! I saw this somewhere on instagram and fell in love with the cute design. Soo, soon I will write my first entries, at the end of november me and the boy will travel to P A R I S for one weekend! ♡♡♡  I am so excited to see this pretty city again, 10 years have passed since my last visit. I really can't wait for this event to come, I am seeking for cute cafés, vintage markets, macarons, teashops, Jim Morrison, art and so much more... ☮

➳ A new hippie dress in 70s orange and two new books to read this winter. "eat, pray, love", an inspiring book that I've already read in german, now I'll read this second hand beauty in  english ☮ The other book is about finding back the big love, I am curious to read this book which is based on a true story.
