Travel Diary: Days in Prague

Hello lovely people,

last week the boy, me and our two friends went for a city trip to Prague. The czech capital has already been on my travel list for some time now. How lucky I was in january when the four of us decided to make a little trip to Prague. The apartment was found and booked very quickly via AirBnB and also a carpark was not far away from there.

Our first real day was sooo warm and sunny! We were so lucky with the weather, we made a walk through Prague old town, passed the Charles bridge, had some yummy lunch next to the bridge in an austrian restaurant, I went to the "Shakespeare and Sons" bookshop, walked by the riverside of the Moldova, walked through Letna Park, and finally ended up in the beautiful Café Letka to have some coffee, hot chocolate and some cake. After homemade dinner we went to the city again to visit a jazz club.

The second day started with rain and it wouln't stop for the rest of the day. Luckily we already  did the sightseeing the day before. So we visited some vintage shops, had some coffee and muffins in the Coffee Room and drove to the old town again. We visited the "Týnský chrám" cathedral and did a little bit of shopping.

"The ancient splendor and beauty of Prague, a city beyond compare, left an impression on my imagination that will never fade."
- Richard Wagner -

We had a wonderful old and antique AirBnB apartment in the Vinohrady area. Our neighborhood was filled with cute cafés, vintage shops and restaurants.

One of the hundrets of beautiful cafés in our neighborhood: Coffee Room. My friend Laura & me really wanted to try their Avocado toast, but we were too late for lunch... ) :

So we had some coffee with oat milk and some banana muffins.

The interior was so much my taste.

Okay, when we did our research for Prague, we already saw these baked deliciousness on several photos. Of course we wanted to try them out ourselves. I don't even know what they are called honestly, maybe "TRDLO", we just called them "Rollo" :D :D Mine was filled with vanilla cream, cream and strawberries. Really recommendable.

Oh how I was looking forward to visit this gem of a bookshop! I could have spend the whole day browsing through all these books! There is also a basement with even more books and a sofa to sit down and read.

Still in love with this shop!

Some of the books I bought at the "Shakespeare and Sons" bookshop and some Alphonse Mucha postcards I sent to my girls.

This was such a rainy day. It called for many café visits and a Little bit of shopping.

Rainy days...
More bookshop coziness and a view to the castle

Coffee and cake time with my gang at the beautiful Café Letka.
Týnský chrám: Sadly it rained here, so everything turned out a bit more grey...

Prague just has the prettiest buildings. Couldn't even decide what to photograph...

Cozy corner with the coolest band posters ♥

The gang in the "JAZZ REPUBLIC" , listening to some jazz (though I kinda hate jazz) :D Fun evening though, enjoyed some wine and cocktails.
